Pearl River, NY (October 19, 2015) – OnSSI announces that Axis’ Zipstream technology is now supported with Ocularis 5. This announcement reflects the company’s commitment to its technology partnerships and support of technology innovation by leading industry manufacturers.

Ocularis 5 is based on a new recorder that accommodates a significantly higher number of cameras per recorder while maximizing HDD storage without the need for user configuration. It features automatic load balancing for managing recordings across system servers, which yields a significant increase, all while reducing storage costs. Ocularis now also allows for multiple different recorders to be combined under the same Base with centralized user and event management.
Ocularis is offered in three models: Professional, designed for organizations operating multiple locations with small to mid-sized camera counts; Enterprise, built for a wide range of mid to large IT-centric organizations; and Ultimate, created for large organizations with extended command and control needs and recording server failover.
