Arthur to advise efforts for SIA Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification
Silver Spring, Md. (Aug. 9, 2016)—The Security Industry Association (SIA) today announced that the association named Greg Arthur, Security Consultant and Contract Project Manager at Security Project Services in San Diego, as chair of its Certification Committee.

In his new role, Mr. Arthur will advise efforts for the Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM®) certification. CSPM® is the leading certification globally for project managers seeking the knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver security projects on time and on budget. CSPM® certificants are highly sought after by integrators in the security industry.

"SIA has pulled together a group of people with massive experience and knowledge in the security industry. I'm proud to be just one part of a great team of professionals working to make the CSPM® a more recognized and relevant security specific project management certification. Our goal is to help create a high quality certification that will allow the CSPM® professional to automatically be recognized as a knowledgeable project professional in our industry," said Mr. Arthur.

"Greg Arthur has extensive experience with design, project management and commissioning of integrated security and IT systems, all important factors for Certified Security Project Managers (CSPMs)," said Kimberly Roberts, SIA Director of Education. "The number of CSPM® certificants have been rapidly growing in the past year, and we have seen a sea change in how integrators have come to require the certification for their security project managers. With Greg's guidance and the great efforts of the committee, integrators will undoubtedly demand even more CSPMs."
