Security 101 partners with top manufacturers to host seminars featuring latest security technologies

Experts from Genetec, Axis, BriefCam and Shooter Detection Systems to take part in seminar series

WEST PALM BEACH. Fla. – June 12, 2017 – Security 101, one of the nation’s fastest-growing security integrators, will host Unification Under the Digital Umbrella, a seminar including presentations and live demonstrations on the latest security technology.

Security 101 has partnered with Genetec, Axis Communications, Briefcam and Shooter Detection Systems to sponsor seminars in Richmond, Va. (June 21st), Edison, N.J. (June 27th) and Salt Lake City, Utah (June 28th). Experts from each organization will discuss how to leverage and consolidate security system components to improve situational awareness within an organization. Situational awareness refers to real-time information about what is happening in and around a given facility, campus, or enterprise. By “unifying” disparate security, alarm and communication systems for centralized monitoring, alerting and reporting, security personnel will be able to successfully communicate and manage their response to an incident or emergency. 

Admission to the events will be complimentary and attendees will enjoy interactive presentations from each sponsor, as well as live demonstrations of how their technologies work together during an emergency to increase situational awareness. Attendees will learn about emerging threats in cyber and physical security, the future of the cloud, new technology in video analytics and Safe City initiatives. Attendees are also invited to join in networking activities after the event, including TopGolf at the New Jersey, Norfolk, and Salt Lake City events and cocktail hour at the Richmond event.
