Vicon Industries Inc., has expanded its Roughneck line of impact-resistant camera domes to include two new cost-effective models, one is analog; the other is IP. Designed for use in potentially abusive conditions such as correctional facilities, warehouses and loading docks, the new models feature digital noise reduction, enabling them to perform in light levels as low as 0.3 lux. Cameras feature a 3.3-12 mm varifocal auto iris lens and may be positioned both horizontally and vertically, allowing for a range of viewing angles in any direction. Both models may be used within a ViconNet digital video management system.
