Continental Access offers electromagnetic locking products that are manufactured with holding forces from 600 to 1,200 lbs. The locking systems are self-contained and microprocessor controlled, providing delayed egress or access control functions. The locks come in field-selectable models and use low voltage (12 or 24VDC). For double doors, the supplier offers a lock with two sides of 1,200-pound locking force. The supplier's remote release magnet offering (RR-PM1200) for buzz-in applications, provides 1,200 pounds field selectable holding force. It comes with a 12 VDC power supply, magnet, remote release fob, plug-in AC transformer and supports up to 100 individual remote fobs.
