    AES-IntelliNet has released the AES-7770 FireTAP, a UL 864 Edition 9-compliant version of its FireTAP serial interface for fire monitoring. The unit links a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) with a central monitoring station via the supplier's wireless mesh networks, and it can monitor any serial source and retrieve Point ID data from the FACP. The unit integrates with the supplier's UL Listed and NFPA compliant AES-7744/7788 fire radios, and interfaces via RS232 to the FACP using the printer port. In addition to being designed to meet the UL 864 Edition 9 standards, the FireTAP supports a broad line of fire panels.
