    Vicon Industries Inc., has introduced the Kollector Bridge, a single-box solution to combine sophisticated video management software with integrated access control capabilities. The Bridge is a hybrid DVR that supports 16 analog and 8 IP or megapixel cameras with the ViconNet open platform video management system that also contains the supplier's SMS Extreme Controller, which provides access control support for up to 128 card readers across the network. The unit records at up to 480 fps across all channels and offers a choice of H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG encoding. It may be used as a standalone model or as part of a network comprised of multiple NVRs and/or DVRs. It has the ability to view and control live and recorded video from cameras and devices anywhere on the network.
