E-Plex 5800 series

Kaba Access Control has introduced the E-Plex 5800 series, a standalone access control system approved by GSA to meet FIPS 201 requirements (PIV, PIV-I, TWIC, CAC, FRAC, etc.). The CoreStreet-enabled series incorporates a range of options and features to accommodate a variety of end-user preferences and applications. The system can be as simple as enrolling FIPS 201 cards right at the reader without requiring any software, or using software, end-users can check card validation against the Federal Bridge PKI, import photos, set access schedules, retrieve audit trail, etc.
