Ranger Receiver and Transmitters

The Ranger Receiver and Transmitters comprise Farpointe Data's long range identification solution. Ranger offers up to 150-feet of (adjustable) read range and its rolling code combined with sophisticated encrypted communication provides best-in-class security.
This solution is ideal for long-range access control applications, such as opening parking gates, raising and lowering vehicle barriers, arming and disarming alarm systems, as well as those applications calling for emergency duress.
The Receiver outputs Wiegand data for easy integration to most access control systems. Each Transmitter integrates the convenience of long-range identification with traditional proximity access control. For example, if a site requires employees to access a parking structure (gate/barrier) and a door (building entrance), the Ranger solution will enable each user to access both the long-range and proximity applications with a single Transmitter.
For the parking structure, the user presses the Transmitter button from the convenience of their vehicle (without lowering the window) and when at the door they can simply present the Transmitter to the building's proximity reader. Since identical data is transmitted upon button press or presentation, each user need only be enrolled once in the access control system.
