Pro-Watch Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) single-door controller

Honeywell’s Pro-Watch security management system features a new Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) single-door controller, with which organizations can add one door at a time to an existing Pro-Watch system. The single-door controllers simplify access control system scalability by allowing users to connect up to 16 PoE reader modules, one door at a time. Other Pro-Watch 3.81 software upgrades include: Software-based license keys; inclusion of the S-Net protocol to provide a smooth migration path from legacy Star I controllers to current technology; and virtualization support with VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, which enables an organization’s IT staff to host Pro-Watch as a virtual server.
