G5 DVR Series

Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video has introduced its G5 Series of digital video recorders, doubling the performance of previous generation recorders. The DVRs employ Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors. System memory has also been doubled, along with the incorporation of DVI and HDMI monitor output for dual monitor output to large panel displays, and eSATA and USB3.0 ports for external storage. eSATA has transfer speeds of 3.0Gbit/s and USB3.0 has speeds of 5Gbit/s, 10-times faster than USB 2.0 speeds of 480Mbit/s. The four models that comprise the G5 family are: the DVSe Hybrid Video Server; the NVSe IP Video Server; the XVSe Hybrid Video Server; and the IPSe IP Video Server.
