LENOIR CITY, TN April 23, 2012 – Yale Locks & Hardware, an ASSA ABLOY Group company and a world leader in door hardware for commercial and residential applications, introduces its 3900 Series Low Energy Power Operator.
The 3900 Series provides quiet and dependable dual functionality for exterior or interior doors. With its ability to function as both an operator and a standard mechanical door closer, the 3900 is ideal for entry or “back of house” doors in government facilities, doctor’s offices, retirement facilities or other applications requiring quiet operation.
The 3900 Series Low Energy Power Operators deliver consistent, dependable and quiet electromechanical operation, certified to ANSI/BHMA and meeting ADA requirements. With their hands-free operation, they are ideal for low- to medium-traffic openings for convenient access when used with touchless or “wave-to-open” wall switches. With their easy installation, these Power Operators are ideal for retrofit applications; an optional AC power cord converts openings for barrier-free accessibility.
The 3900 Series features: push- or pull-side mounting; electrically controlled backcheck, sweep and latch; activation options that include wall switches and radio frequency devices; electric hardware and access control interface; and onboard 24VDC (1.1A) power supply for accessories.
