Organizations can build customized surveillance systems using the MAXPRO NVR 2.0 from Honeywell, now interoperable with a wide range of cameras. Supporting ONVIF and PSIA interoperability standards, as well as real-time streaming protocol (RTSP), the NVR features native integration to cameras and encoders from Honeywell and other manufacturers. Additionally, the family now includes a software-only offering that enables users to source their own hardware by loading the NVR software onto existing servers, regardless of hardware type. The NVR line includes a box solution that offers 16 to 32 channels and software solutions that range from 4 to 32 channels.
