MicroPower will demonstrate its unique Rugged-i, a solar-powered, wireless surveillance camera that reduces power consumption by as much as 90 percent without compromising video quality or reliability, and the MiniHub, a wireless receiver video hub for use with the company’s line of surveillance cameras. The MiniHub now supports six cameras to further maximize system flexibility and cost efficiencies. In addition, MicroPower, in partnership with Technology Representatives Inc., has developed a video decoder solution, enabling connectivity of its popular wireless, solar solution to analog Digital Video Recorders (DVRs). The video decoder, ENC-D, converts MicroPower’s digital MJPEG stream into analog outputs whereby it can be connected directly to any DVR.
