Single door, Power-over-Ethernet controller that includes the door/reader interface module all in one unit. The policies and schedules for all identities, and for all hardware configurations, from the databases in a RedCloud appliance are distributed into the controller so security is enforced at the door, even if the upstream network communications are interrupted. Supports all standard (Wiegand interface) reader technologies. Can be expanded to run 16 additional doors
