Description of functionality: eSecure is a mobile home alarm monitoring application that allows Protection 1 customers to use a computer or cell phone to remotely access, control, and adjust their home security systems. eSecure uses a video camera that can be viewed live and remotely from any Web-based device or on an iPhone, Blackberry or Android phone via the eSecure app. There are pan and tilt capabilities, and because it’s connected through a Protection 1 home security system, authorities can quickly be dispatched in the case of an emergency. The system also provides alerts via e-mails or text if smoke or high levels of carbon monoxide are detected.
