Philadelphia, PA (September 10, 2012) – Samsung Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance and security products delivering superior performance and value, is showcasing its new line of economically priced 1.3 and 3 megapixel network box and dome cameras here at ASIS 2012 (Booth #1125). In addition to producing HD resolution images, the affordably priced units incorporate an impressive suite of high performance features.
Samsung’s new 1.3 and 3 megapixel cameras include advanced features such as contrast enhancement and software-based Day/Night operation to accommodate challenging light conditions, as well as Tampering Detection and Motion Detection. Additional performance features include multiple streaming, H.264 and MJPEG dual streaming and privacy masking.

Samsung's 3 megapixel cameras provide a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. Models include the SNB-7001 megapixel full HD network box camera, the SND-7011 megapixel full HD network dome with a 3mm fixed lens, and the SND-7061 megapixel full HD network dome with a 3-8.5mm (2.8x) varifocal lens. The new 3 megapixel cameras also feature a smart codec for region-of-interest (ROI) encoding.
Also new at ASIS 2012 are three new low-cost 1.3 megapixel cameras with a resolution of 1,280 x 1,024-pixels. The new models include the SNB-5001 megapixel HD network camera, SND-5011 megapixel HD network dome camera with a 3mm fixed lens, and the SND-5061 megapixel HD network camera with a 3-8.5mm (2.8x) vari-focal lens.
