Canon Remote Adjustment for HD Cameras

Oct. 31, 2012
Canon remote adjustment comes standard in HD camera models

Canon’s remote adjustment function is a standard feature on the new VB-H610VE and VB-H610D (pictured) full HD IP security cameras. The new VB-H610VE is a fixed vandal-resistant dome camera. The new VB-H610D is a fixed indoor IP dome camera. The feature, which is also included on Canon’s VB-M600VE and VB-M600D fixed megapixel IP security cameras, enables users to control the built-in motor in these cameras to remotely change their pan, tilt, and rotation angle – as well as the lens zoom and focus position – after installation, without removing the camera’s dome cover. Access to the camera with a ladder or bucket truck becomes unnecessary. This application can also be used to adjust the zoom and focus on Canon’s VB-H710F “box” style fixed HD IP camera and the VB-M700F fixed megapixel camera.
