Hikvision released a vandal-resistant IP dome camera series for outdoor surveillance. The DS-2CD72xx series feature Hikvision’s Advanced Image Signal processing with features including 120dB wide dynamic range, 3D noise reduction and smart IR and low-light performance. Coupled with Hikvision’s H.264 compression, these new products are designed to provide superior performance 24/7.
The DS-2CD72xx series IP outdoor dome cameras are available in various resolutions, ranging from 1.3MP/720p up to five megapixels. The 1.3MP/720p and 3MP/1080p models offer wide dynamic range, which is applied automatically and only as required by the scene. The 3D noise reduction and smart IR in conjunction with the high-performance image sensors result in low bandwidth streaming, even in low-light conditions. Built in IR illuminators with a range of up to 90 feet are standard in all models. A motorized vari-focal lens is also standard to provide easy installation and remote zoom and focus control. The dome cameras are constructed with a vandal resistant, IK10 rated, housing and IP66 ingress protection, ensuring maximum protection for outdoor applications. A heater & fan option is available, power by Hi-PoE or 24VAC, for operation down to -40F.
