Add up to 16 readers
DoorKing (DSK) has introduced wireless expansion boards for its 1830 series of telephone entry and access control products. The boards make it possible to add up to 16 card readers or other access devices to an access control system without the need of for additional wire runs.
DKS wireless expansion boards will connect card readers, keypads or just about any 26-bit Wiegand device to the DKS 1830 access controllers without the need to run wiring back to the controller, providing time, labor and money savings. Each board also acts as a repeater station to provide for longer distances, or individual repeater units are available when an access control device is not needed.
"Installers will love these wireless boards since it simplifies installation and business owners will appreciate the time saved, which adds to the bottom line," said Richard Sedivy, director of Marketing. "All you need is a power source at the entry point and you are ready to go."
