The ComNet CNGE24MS is a hardened Managed Ethernet Switch that offers sixteen Gigabit copper TX ports and 8 Gigabit combination ports. This switch uses easily interchangeable small form factor pluggable optic (SFP) devices modules for fiber type, connector type and distance. Also introduced is a five-port managed switch, the CNGE5MS that offers three Gigabit copper TX ports and two Gigabit combination ports that also utilize SFPs. These managed Ethernet switches offer 3 different redundancy feature: ComRing, MSTP and RSTP as well as C-Ring. C-Ring is an exclusive network recovery technology that allows the network to re-route transmission in the event of a network interruption and can restore the network in under 30 milliseconds.
