    FAIRPORT, N.Y. – With the launch of its DINION IP ultra 8000 MP camera featuring the latest 4K ultra HD technology, Bosch is changing the game when it comes to wide-angle yet detailed surveillance. This new camera simultaneously supports a wide-angle overview and multiple focus points on a single screen to focus on details without losing the bigger picture. Its 12 megapixel or 4K ultra HD resolution allows any given subject to be viewed in detail unknown until now even when zoomed-in. As a result, the DINION IP ultra 8000 MP offers the decisive clarity needed for collecting relevant evidence for highly detailed and effective retrospective analysis. Now, it is easy to keep an eye on the crowd, for example in a stadium, and provide enough detail to identify individual people.Wide-angle overview and detailed focus with perfect exposure every timeCapturing 12 megapixel images at 20 frames per second and 4K ultra HD images at 30 frames per second, the DINION IP ultra 8000 MP camera easily captures fast moving objects in high detail. Multiple regions of interest (ROI) in combination with intelligent ROI tracking helps to focus on relevant details without losing the bigger picture, while enabling tracking of objects of interest in the wide-angle scene. Possible disturbances caused by fluctuating front or backlight are eliminated by Bosch’ unique built-in intelligence. The intelligent Auto Exposure (iAE) technology dynamically adjusts the exposure of the camera to automatically adapt to changing light conditions, providing perfect exposure of objects of interest every time of day. The iAE technology also contributes to the outstanding dynamic range of the camera which boasts a massive 92+16 dB, totalling 108 dB, for the 4K ultra HD mode.Detailed and effective retrospective analysisAnother differentiating feature of the DINION IP ultra 8000 MP is built-in Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA). The camera’s ability to capture images in 12 megapixel or 4K ultra HD resolution combined with IVA offers an ideal solution for highly detailed and effective retrospective analysis. IVA helps to focus on relevant situations by alerting you when needed, or automatically tracking objects of interest. It also adds sense and structure to video data by adding metadata already in the camera. This allows the quick retrieval of relevant images from hours of stored video. Metadata, together with the highly detailed images, make the difference when collecting irrefutable forensic evidence or when optimizing business processes based on, for example, people counting or crowd density information. By smartly using the camera’s ability to simultaneously combine eight IVA rules, complex tasks are made easy and false alarms are reduced to a minimum.Lower storage costs and network strainTo reduce storage costs and network strain the camera features intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction (iDNR). The power of this technology is that it leads to bandwidth only being used when needed. When there is little or no movement in the scene, less bitrate is required. Therefore, iDNR actively analyses the scene distinguishing between relevant information, such as moving objects and image noise artifacts. The degree of noise reduction is adjusted accordingly so that important objects are captured and image noise artifacts suppressed, optimizing the camera’s bitrate. Thus, iDNR saves up to 50% on bitrate and hence storage and network strain without compromising video quality. Local storage on the camera enhances system reliability by compensating for short network outages, ensuring that video data is continuously available in systems with Video Recording Manager technology without breaks.Bosch IP standard-definition and high-definition cameras, encoders and analytics work seamlessly with a wide range of security software and recording solutions from Bosch and many other industry providers.
