The cameras are available for demonstration at the ISC West Exhibition, April 15-17, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Booth 25089. The Camera as a System (CaaS) series of products offers complete all-in-one solutions powered by DW Spectrum Edge v2.3 in Digital Watchdog’s reliable and durable surface mount outdoor dome housings. MEGApix CaaS Plus cameras include the Prism™ traffic analytic running natively on the cameras.

MEGApix CaaS cameras are multi-hybrid solutions that function as both a camera and recorder, with no need for a dedicated server. The cameras offer real time 1080P at up to 30fps, and features including WDR, true day/night, backlight compensation, Smart DNR™ 3D DNR and auto exposure. The cameras include an SD card interface for up to 128GB of local storage, adding a layer of security to your camera’s sensitive recorded data.
The new MEGApix CaaS Plus cameras are 3.0MP cameras that can support running two programs simultaneously, allowing them to run DW Spectrum Edge in conjunction the Prism analytic for advanced video intelligence capabilities.
