Torrance, CA, September 20, 2007 - AMAG Technology and Intransa announce a partnership that provides AMAG's Symmetry Authorized Resellers the option to install Intransa IP storage with AMAG's Symmetry Security Management System.

When utilizing a video surveillance system with Intransa's scalable, security-grade IP storage, Symmetry Authorized Resellers can install more cameras than with a traditional storage solution using servers, DVRs or NVRs. The Intransa system uses a standard Ethernet networking infrastructure and can be expanded to a SAN (storage area network) easily.

Symmetry Security Management System supports Intransa's scalable IP SAN that can grow from 4 to 1,000 terabyes of RAID-protected storage. Simple to install, its iSCSI architecture utilizes a standard networking infrastructure and supports up to 10Gbit per second allowing systems to grow as networks are updated. It's a cost effective alternative for customers needing large storage space.

A Symmetry Security Management System from AMAG Technology combines all of the requirements needed for building security including access control, video management, alarm management, identity management, visitor management, and command and control into a single deeply integrated security management system for any size organization.
