ADT Security Services, a top provider of in-home security and life safety services, and Qwest, a provider of home broadband services, have announced an agreement for complementary services.

Qwest's broadband customers will get access to Microsoft's Windows Live suite of services, including Internet and email security, but the agreement with ADT allows Qwest to also offer home security services. The Qwest customers who purchase or reactive an ADT security system earn a $200 cash back offer from ADT.

ADT group director for strategy and business development Jason Nordin said the partnership with Qwest makes sense for everyone.

"We appreciate Qwest's commitment to reliability and believe it makes good sense to offer our common customers an affordable way to acquire both home and Internet security that helps protect the people and possessions they value most," said Nordin.
