Feb. 19 -- Verint Systems announced this morning that Agent Vi's video analytics will be able to integrate into the Verint Nextiva IP video platform and into Verint's edge devices (encoders, cameras, etc.).

The Agent Vi solutions are stand-alone video analytics that are designed to detect crowd/people density, tailgating and more. By integrating into the Verint Nextiva platform, the alerts from the Agent Vi modules are distributed through the Nextiva Review interface. The Verint system is an IP-based/networked-connected platform.

Agent Vi's Mark Kolar said the integration between the two firms will help streamline the management of security systems for surveillance end-users.
