Brink's Incorporate announced today that it has purchased some of the assets of Madison Armored Car.

Madison Armored Car was a Nashville-based secure transportation solutions company which had focused on ATM replenishment and standard armored transportation. Exactly which assets were part of the acquisition were not specified, nor did Brink's disclose the financial terms of the Madison Armored Car acquisition.

Madison Armored Car had been in business for 12 years, and was focused in the Southeast, covering not only its home state of Tennessee, but the firm also had business in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida -- areas where Brink's will now be able to grow through the acquisition.

Wally Kemp, president of Madison Armored Car said he was happy with the acquisition by Brink's because, "we wanted our customers to be serviced by a company with a reputation for security and reliability."
