Course Offerings

END-USER SECURITY AWARENESS (EUSA) CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:
Description - The End-User Security Awareness course is an informative, non-technical, and highly effective awareness course covering the top 10 security issues faced by enterprise end-users regarding information assets and the systems that are used to protect, process, store or transmit organizational data.

Users will take a 15 item questionnaire once the course is completed, which will measure the individual's retention of the information presented in the course. Once a student passes with a score of 70% or higher, a Certificate of Completion will be available for print/save.

Accreditation - This course has achieved ANSI accreditation for the new American National Standard (ASTM E-2569, "Standard Practice for Certificate Programs")

Duration - Approximately 1 hour

SECURE WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AWARENESS (SWADA) CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:
Description - SCIPP International's Secure Web Application Development Awareness (SWADA) course is the most current and valuable awareness course you can take to review critical web application vulnerabilities to assist developing secure web applications. Using the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top Ten most critical web application security flaws as the foundation for discussion, the SWADA course is a high-level overview addressing the business impact of threats and vulnerabilities via insecure web applications.

Users will take a 25 item questionnaire once the course is completed, which will measure the individual's retention of the information presented in the course. Once a student passes with a score of 70% or higher, a Certificate of Completion will be available for print/save.

Accreditation - This course has achieved ANSI accreditation against the new American National Standard (ASTM E-2569, "Standard Practice for Certificate Programs").

Duration - Approximately 4 hours.

WIRELESS INTERNET SURVEILLANCE PROGRAM:
Description - As technology moves from fixed analog CCTV systems to distributed video management systems which are connected using the internet, the need for students to have knowledge of Wireless Internet Protocol Surveillance (WIPS) has become prevalent in facilities protection and intrusion management.

Accreditation - Training in this area will provide the student with relevant knowledge in addressing basic and advanced-level threats in perimeter security, facility protection and identity management, and how to use portable handheld and wireless devices in various geographically decentralized and distributed environments.

Students will receive instruction in concepts and terminology, security design, legal considerations and workplace violence mitigation.

Duration - Approximately 4 days on-site.

CUSTOM DESIGNED INSTRUCTIONAL PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE. THESE INCLUDE:

Onsite Training Our instructors come to your location to train groups of up to 12 individuals per class with instructional techniques that include interactive response systems and handheld devices that can ensure that the content being taught is mastered.

Virtual Training These courses are instructor led and monitored over secure web connections providing interactive training for groups of up to 30 individuals per class. These courses use our custom eLearning portal, with the ability for students to directly interface with the instructor during pre-defined class sessions.

E-learning Self-paced learning options enable the student to learn and train at times that are convenient and not disruptive to the daily workflow. Using the SecureXperts Secure Learning portal, the learning objectives are clearly defined and measured.
