Montreal, Quebec – February 12, 2018. Automatic Systems, a world leader in the automation of secure entrance control equipment for pedestrian, vehicle and passenger access, proudly announces the integration of IDEMIA MorphoWAVE™ readers for simple and secure biometric authentication of security lane users.

SlimLane EP is part of the award winning SlimLane family of security lane optical turnstiles. Thanks to its extended posts, the SlimLane EP is designed to complement and enhance a client’s architectural environment while allowing the flexibility of integrating multiple peripherals, including elevator dispatch screens, NFC mobile phone readers, bar code readers (i.e.; QscanT), visitor management systems, facial recognition, and other biometric technology such as MorphoWAVE™.

SlimLane is a series of highly secure and efficient swing glass optical turnstiles, with UL2593 certification, MCBF (Mean Cycles Between Failure) rating of 10,000,000, advanced IP Network connectivity (control/management/diagnostics), and an industry leading 5 year warranty.

IDEMIA MorphoWAVE is the world-first biometric access solution capturing and matching four fingerprints in 3D, with a simple wave of the hand. It uses a patented, truly contactless technology that implements IDEMIA’s fingerprint algorithms ranked #1 by NIST for accuracy, and also overcomes the challenges that wet/dry fingers and latent prints pose to conventional scanning systems.

The engineered aesthetic integration of these 2 superior technologies has been embraced by the architectural community, and allows for a number of other advantages, including fast throughput, secure entry control, and smooth user experience.

“MorphoWAVE™ has earned a reputation as the go-to solution for secure, frictionless biometric access. Its proven performance in major financial institutions, retail, universities and government is driving very rapid adoption of the technology worldwide,” says Gary Jones, Vice President of Biometric Access and Time Solutions at IDEMIA. “We are very pleased to have a partners like Automatic Systems create a seamless integration of the MorphoWAVE™ technology into their SlimLane turnstile.”

“We are proud of the SlimLane EP engineered integration with MorphoWAVE™” according to David Enderle, VP of Sales at Automatic Systems, “Clients and security consultants asked for the combined product and our design team produced a beautiful and effective product for biometric authentication in a swing glass turnstile.”

The new SlimLane EP with integrated MorphoWAVE™ reader - as well as a variety of Automatic Systems entrance control solutions - will be on display during the ISC West 2018 show, April 11-13 in Las Vegas, NV, Booth #4065.
