CRANSTON, R.I. , Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Electronics, Inc. has received official International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registration from the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, certifying the company's dedication to adhering to regulations controlling the export and import of defense-related articles and services.

"Military, defense, and homeland security markets are a particular area of focus for Federal Electronics," said Federal Electronics Vice President Edward Evangelista . "As a small business servicing these industry segments, we recognize the importance of protecting and safeguarding our customers' technical data, and have established the requisite controls and processes to maintain the proper level of security."

A supplier to Raytheon IDS for the past 7 years, Federal Electronics was honored with the award for its exemplary performance and contribution to the success of Raytheon IDS and its customers.
