Hospital security assessment software addresses JCAHO and 2007 Environment of Care requirements

ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- RiskWatch, Inc. announced today that they have released RiskWatch for Healthcare Security, the most comprehensive assessment tool available for physical security assessments at hospitals and healthcare facilities.

The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits more than 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. The new software program covers every major area of security assessment including development of a written Security Management Plan, conducting the annual Risk Assessment, evaluating the threat environment, controlling access, and mitigating violence in the emergency department, as well as covering a proactive infant abduction prevention plan.
