New staff fill positions in member services and office projects

Alexandria, VA - The Security Industry Association is proud to announce the addition of two new staff members. Zubin Bamji has accepted the newly-created position of Director of Strategic Marketing and Member Services. Tom O'Connor, a recent college graduate, steps into the role of Office Projects Coordinator.

"SIA continues to expand its staff to meeting the growing needs of its membership," said Richard Chace, Executive Director of SIA. "I am confident that Tom and Zubin will be valuable assets to the organization and its mission."

Zubin Bamji joins SIA with a healthy mix of both corporate and nonprofit marketing experience and will lead SIA's marketing initiatives. He holds both a BS in marketing from USC's College of Business Administration and a MMS (Master of Mass Communications) in the College of Journalism, also at USC. Bamji's talents have been put to very good use most recently at the American Red Cross as a Marketing and Brand Officer and prior to that at National Public Radio, for a four-year stint, as the Director of Brand Management and Communications.

O'Connor is a recent graduate of West Virginia University (WVU) at Morgantown and hails from Binghamton, NY. His undergraduate work was in political science and legal studies, and he was also an accomplished hockey player. O'Connor is very computer-literate with a strong sense of teamwork and is excited to hit the ground running in his new capacity at SIA.

Please feel free to email Zubin or Tom directly at [email protected] or [email protected], respectively.
