BALTIMORE…December 2020 -- Securityhunter, Inc., located in Baltimore, Maryland, received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to continue providing security systems and support services for Social Security Administration (SSA) locations nationwide.

Securityhunter, Inc. was competitively awarded a BPA against its General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, to provide security systems and support services to various Social Security Administration (SSA) locations nationwide. The Period of Performance is 09/30/2020 through 09/29/2025 and is estimated at $87 million.

This BPA provides standardized video surveillance systems (VSS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), duress alarms, and physical access control systems (PACS), and consists of equipment, installation, maintenance, and support services at SSA offices. The initiative is referred to as Physical Security Systems Standardization and Support Services (PS5).

When asked what this award means to Securityhunter, Founder and CEO, Michael S. Rogers said, “This is a very significant win for Securityhunter, which will soon be an employee owned company. This award means the employees can continue on our path to success in securing our Nation.”

The award of the BPA allows Securityhunter, Inc. to save the federal government funds by reducing the administrative costs of acquiring commercial services from the General Service Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). “We’re extremely happy to be able to continue supporting the SSA, our entire staff is excited about this award.” says Executive Director, Ross Nelson.

Program Manager, Brian Vanderhoof adds "This is a team win. Over the last five years, Securityhunter’s team of dedicated employees, subcontractors, and the SSA have worked together in a synergistic environment to support the physical security requirements of SSA. I know that all of us will bring that same level of team performance and success to the follow-on contract. Any contract win is sweet, but as the incumbent, it is that much more so.”

According to Contract Manager Xanne Luera, “Securityhunter takes great pride in the confidence that SSA has granted our Operational Program Management Team to continue delivery of the PS5 Programs’ security solutions, which prioritize critical assets that require the most protection and situational awareness. I look forward to continued success working with SSA as we execute BPA orders related to their security requirements.”
