More Info on Cobalt Robotics

The Cobalt robot bridges the gap between guards, who are friendly and responsive but expensive and underutilized during uneventful night shifts, and cameras, which are cheap and reliable, but unable to respond to any nuanced situation.

Our intelligent robots combine the superhuman sensing, computation, reliability, unwavering attention, and perfect recall of a machine, with the flexibility, cognition, and face-to-face interaction of a remote human pilot.  The robots patrol autonomously, using cutting edge machine learning to build models of ‘normal’ and flagging anomalies such as people, open doors, suspicious items, leaks, and unusual sounds. They can either respond autonomously or allow remote pilots to have 2-way audio/video chats for real-time responses.

Designed by world-famous industrial designer, Yves Behar, and created by some of the world’s foremost experts in robotics, Cobalt’s intelligent indoor robot was designed from the ground-up to ‘fit’ into indoor spaces and operate with and around people.
