Sans Digital, a leading storage manufacturer, is announcing TowerRAID TR4X12G/TR8X12G, 4bay/8bay 12G modularized mini SAS HD connection storage towers added to the current TowerRAID series' products.
The TowerRAID TR4X12G is a 4-bay tower with a single mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644)
connection module, while the TR8X12G is an 8-bay tower with two mini-SAS HD
(SFF-8644) connections module. With this high speed 12G interface, each mini-SAS HD connection generate over 4.8Gb/s or 4,800MB/s, providing highest performance for most demanding applications.
Both TR4X12G and TR8X12G come standard as diskless models. Hard drive and RAID controller bundles options are available. They also come with hot-swappable trays inside
the attractive dust-resistant ventilating door. The ultra quiet cooling system with
temperature control provides effective heat dispensing while remaining relatively noise-free. TR4X12G and TR8X12G are compatible with the latest enterprise 12G SAS hard drives, as well as high capacity SATA hard drives that provide flexibility to customers. TR4X12G and TR8X12G's 12G SAS connections with 4.8GB/s allow the highest performance generated
from your systems' RAID controller card or HBA.
