Warranty and non-warranty repairs to be centralized in Lincoln, Neb.

Fairport, N.Y. — Bosch Security Systems, Inc., a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security solutions, announced today that North American warranty and non-warranty repairs will be centralized in Lincoln, Nebraska. The transition will allow Bosch to better support its customers with greater flexibility and improved service.

"We understand that excellent quality and fast repair turnaround times are critical to the success of our customers," said Shamus Hurley, president, Bosch Security Systems. "Over the next year, we aim to simplify and greatly improve our after sales programs in North America."

Repairs of Bosch's CCTV product line began in Lincoln, Nebraska in May 2007. Service for Bosch's Fire, Intrusion, and Access and Systems product lines, as well as spare parts ordering, will be migrated gradually to this location throughout the remainder of 2007 and in 2008. The existing toll-free phone numbers for service and spare parts ordering will remain unchanged to ensure an easy transition for customers.

As part of the company's overall plan to improve these functions, David Urech has been appointed to oversee Bosch's Global Service and Repair Business Unit. Urech brings more than 25 years of experience in customer support, quality management and service to this position. He was most recently vice president of Customer Care for Bosch.

"The first CCTV repairs completed in Lincoln are a milestone for Bosch, reflecting our commitment to constant improvement in our service programs and our willingness to make the necessary investments," said David Urech, vice president, Global Service and Repair, Bosch Security Systems, Inc.

More than 60 new employees will be hired to support the repair center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
