Las Vegas, NV (April 6, 2016) – Hanwha Techwin America, formerly Samsung Techwin America, continues to deliver the highest performance and value surveillance solutions with the introduction of two new WiseNet product line extensions at ISC West (booth #14079). WiseNet AHD+ (Analog High Definition) Series cameras and DVRs provide an easy, cost-effective means of upgrading from analog to IP, while WiseNet Q Series cameras deliver high resolution imaging with advanced H.265 compression.

WiseNet AHD+ Series
WiseNet AHD+ cameras allow users to upgrade their surveillance systems to HD using legacy coax cabling without the costly process of ripping and replacing coax with Ethernet cabling. New WiseNet AHD+ cameras include the SCB-6003 Box Camera, SCO-6083R/6023R Bullet Camera, SCD-6083R/6023R Dome Camera and SCV-6083R/6023R Vandal Resistant Dome Camera. The new WiseNet AHD+ cameras offer a variety of high-performance features including Day/Night operation, motion detection, IR illuminators and more depending on model.
The new WiseNet AHD+ DVRs include the SRD-494 Four Channel DVR, SRD-894 Eight Channel DVR, SRD-1685 Sixteen Channel DVR (240fps), and SRD-1694 Sixteen Channel DVR (480fps). High performance features include HDMI/VGA video output and audio inputs, PTZ control via coaxial cable or RS485, smart phone (Android/iOS) support, and compatibility with legacy analog cameras.
WiseNet Q Series
To more efficiently reduce bandwidth and storage needs, the new WiseNet Q Series combine H.265 compression and support for Hanwha’s WiseStream technology, which dynamically chooses motion areas as regions of interest and selects high-quality encoding for these areas. The static part of the image stays at regular compression, reducing bitrates. WiseStream also dynamically changes the I-Frame (largest frame size) intervals depending on the complexity and amount of motion in the scene. As a result, WiseNet Q cameras can process data streaming using up to 50% less network bandwidth compared to other cameras on the market. This enables seamless image transfer even when there is limited network bandwidth.
All WiseNet Q cameras offer H.265/H.264/MJPEG streaming, max 30fps and 120dB true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). The Hallway View feature provides 9:16 ratio coverage of narrow aisles and passageways, allowing users to rotate camera lenses by 90° and video in the web viewer by 90°/270°. Lens Distortion Correction (LDC) compensates for image distortion that can occur with wide angle lenses.
