Carrier on Tuesday announced that it has acquired Cavius, a Danish residential alarm company that offers a complete range of smoke, heat, flood and carbon monoxide detectors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed

In a statement, Carrier, which is the parent company of LenelS2, Onity, Supra, Kidde, Edwards, and a variety of other fire and security product brands, said that the acquisition would strengthen its residential fire safety solutions in Europe.
