Marks brings with him a wealth of knowledge and decades of professional experience in the security industry. With a storied career that began in the Chicago Fire Department, Marks fields experience with fire and burglary devices, professional security systems and perimeter access. He served most recently as Business Development Manager at Nortek Security & Control, owner of the 2GIG® brand, focused on serving security channel dealers. As a former Mayor and Deputy Transportation Director in Illinois, Marks has worked with local, regional, state, and federal legislators regarding policy and law updates.
