The VAS Smart Buildings Solution will be introduced at the Embedded Vision Summit in Santa Clara, CA on May 17 and 18. Megh Computing will be demonstrating the solution with a live camera feed in Intel’s booth #305 at the show. The software will be running on an Intel NUC edge gateway.
The VAS Solution supports various physical security use cases that are available for deployment with the solution. These include loiter detection, intrusion detection, people occupancy and people tracking. Megh can also develop and deploy custom use cases for better ROI using the VAS SDK to incorporate new AI models or analytics into the solution.
Based on Megh’s innovative Video Analytics Solution (VAS) platform, the VAS Smart Building Solution is built on Open Analytics principles. The VAS platform is powered by the Nimble Framework that implements the complete video analytic pipeline and is fully customizable. VAS can be targeted for various deployment models from edge gateways to enterprise servers in the cloud. The solution can run on platforms with CPU, GPU, FPGA or SOCs based accelerators to deliver the lowest TCO.The solution can be deployed across multiple sites and managed through a single pane of glass through the VAS Portal that runs in the cloud and provides a browser-based interface to configure and manage the sites.
“We are seeing excellent traction across all geographic regions for our new VAS Solution as it provides a scalable, flexible and performant solution to meet market needs,” said Prabhat K Gupta, CEO of Megh Computing. “The solution is further designed to be white-labeled by our partners.”
