In 2014, the owner of a vacant warehouse that was having issues with copper theft had an outdoor-rated Videofied system with Outdoor MotionViewers® installed. Within two hours, the monitoring station received a video alarm showing two intruders and dispatched law enforcement. Minutes later, the police had the two individuals in handcuffs. Later that same night, the Videofied system alerted the monitoring station about a second intrusion which quickly led to two more arrests. As a result of the Videofied installation, four arrests were made in under eight hours as a response to two Videofied alarms.
