To help better prioritize and reduce false alarms, ADT developed SMART (System Monitoring and Response Technology) monitoring, which communicates more alarm details and thus helps dispatchers determine which type of support the customer needs. With SMART, alarms reach first responders eight times faster with a 52% reduction in false alarms. With these enhancements, fewer dispatchers are required for already stressed 911 centers.
