Expansions, Partnership and Training Part of Firm's Offering

Tri-Ed Distribution continues to expand its locations, staff, product offerings and value-added services. The company recently celebrated grand openings in Boston and Kansas City . Each venue hosted 100+ customers, as well as many of the industry's leading manufacturers showcasing their latest product offerings and their support of Tri-Ed.

Sean Guilfoyle, branch manager for the Boston location, reports, “We had a gigantic turnout. We offered a technician's breakfast, which opened up at 7 a.m., for those customers who had to be out in the field that day. About 35 technicians came through. Then, more than 100 customers joined us for lunch.”

“We received nothing but positive feedback from the vendor and dealer communities,” says Tommy Andrade, branch manager for the Kansas City location. “Support from the vendors has been exceptional and the customers were very excited to have a new player in town.”

Tri-Ed has also announced a partnership with JobSite Systems, which produces custom installation audio/video products for the trade, to carry its products as the premier custom installation audio/video brand within its network.

Steve Roth, president and chief executive officer of Tri-Ed, remarks, “Partnering with a complete custom installation solutions provider such as JobSite Systems allows Tri-Ed to carry all of the product offerings needed for home theater and whole-house installations.”

The distribution partnership will span JobSite's full line of products geared for the custom installation and security channels. Product offerings include items such as in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, outdoor rock speakers and multizone receivers .

Tri-Ed also announced an all-encompassing product rollout and training program that addresses the needs of dealers. “We have put a complete system together that will allow dealers to be a one-stop shop,” says Roth.

Official rollouts and product training sessions are being offered through Tri-Ed's Home Technology Tour. The tour delivers the goods on home technology and allows dealers to discover the full range of products and services Tri-Ed offers for the latest in Residential Systems Design. The one-day event encompasses certified product seminars, a buffet dinner and prize drawings, and a tabletop exposition featuring Tri-Ed's vendor partners. Circle 101
