From the Field-The MobileCamViewer, a remote monitoring system from mobiDEOS, allows users to watch and control security cameras and Webcams directly from a cell phone or mobile device and determine how to best respond to security-related events from the field. Mobile devices connected to the solution can receive video and audio from sources including IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs and video servers (encoders).

Any account on VioStor NVR can connect to an unlimited number of NVR and IP cameras through Wi-Fi and 3G or 4G networks. Once connected, users can enable remote live view and access playback recordings.

Multiple Mobile Support-Lenel Systems' (UTC Fire & Security) OnGuard's mobile monitoring App supports Android, Windows 7, iPad, iPhone smartphones and other wireless devices. Users can limit alarms received to specific monitored zones upon login; view cardholder details including photos for all access events; acknowledge and mark new alarms as "in progress;" run reports against user transactions initiated from the phone; and provide command and control of readers to override pre-set modes during emergencies.

Mobile Business Intelligence-QlikTech's HTML5-based QlikView App on iPad gives users the same business intelligence experience as on their desktops, even allowing them, through bookmarking, to work on a page on their desktop; move to their iPad; and continue right where they left off. The product supports all of the traditional iPad functions and lets users customize their views as well as search for information any way they want.
