Web-based Inspection Reports-BuildingReports has expanded its Web-based inspection reporting service to offer Scheduling Manager, which enables users to keep track of inspection schedules and manage them through an intuitive graphical calendar interface. The integrated Inspection Workflow feature allows users to confirm inspection appointments automatically via email. Scheduling Manager also provides field staff the ability to access schedules from their mobile device.

Utilized to push audio communications to speakers throughout mid- to large-scale fire alarm voice evacuation systems, this self-contained amplifier comes equipped with a built-in power supply, battery-backup connection and four speaker circuits.

Mass Notification Solutions-Cooper Notification's latest Mass Notification solution, Roam Secure Alert Network (RSAN) Select, provides interoperable communications, first responder mobilization and citizen warning. Designed with input from emergency managers and developed for Cooper Notification's Dealer Program, RSAN Select allows users to activate alerts from a single web page to unlimited communication channels, including SMS/text messaging, voice calls, desktop notifications, e-mails, and indoor and outdoor loudspeakers.

Gas Detection-Crowcon's intrinsically safe TXgard-IS+ UL and ULC certified gas detector is fitted with electrochemical sensors to detect a wide range of toxic gases and oxygen. It detects the potentially dangerous gases commonly found in these environments, such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), chlorine (Cl2), ammonia (NH3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and oxygen (O2).

Fire Alarm Systems-Evax Systems introduces a standalone or networkable line of fire alarm systems. Choose a two- to eight-loop base system that intermixes Apollo and/or System Sensor devices. It easily integrates with emergency voice communications. The multiple protocols are ideally suited for retrofits. The panel is listed to UL 864 Ninth edition.

Panels for Small- to Mid-Sized Installs-Hochiki America's FireNET(tm) Plus Analog Addressable Control Panel for small- to mid-sized installations is available with one SLC loop, may be expanded to two. Capacity is 127 sensors & modules, plus 127 analog sounder bases, for a total of 254 points possible per loop. It features advanced DCP protocol for fast and robust communication. Easily programmable with Windows configuration utility.

Cameras and Sensor Coincide-The PIR-TECT Motion Detectors from Potter Electric Signal Co. feature a flexible mounting height of up to 20 feet and an adjustable 180-degree pan and 90-degree tilt, which allow the view of a security camera and the PIR-TECT sensor to coincide, providing more accurate threat detection. PIR-TECT 1 is a twin PIR external motion detector. PIR-TECT 2 combines the features of PIR-TECT 1 with the addition of microwave sensing technology.

Alerting and Incident Management-With the release of its Incident Management Service (IMS), Send Word Now offers fully integrated and proprietary incident management and mass notification tools using a SaaS model. Send Word Now customers will be able to use the IMS tool to effectively manage events and incidents. A separate IMS console will allow users to simultaneously annotate and manage multiple alerts and multiple incidents as they develop in real time.
