Tested to High Standards—The Dortronics 3300 Series Electric Strikes are compatible with most aluminum door frame cutouts and many wood and hollow metal door frames. The series come with an ANSI strike plate and are now UL-listed Burglary Resistant Electric Strikes.
Wireless in the Home—The Schlage LiNK™ wireless home-management and keypad lock system from Ingersoll Rand includes a wireless lock or deadbolt and is built around Z-Wave® technology. This enables homeowners to lock and unlock doors, monitor live camera feeds, and control temperature, lighting and other devices from any computer and most Web-enabled mobile phones.
Access through a Touchscreen—Arrow Lock’s Revolution touchscreen door lock combines the function of a cylindrical lockset with a new design appealing to the iPhone generation. Instead of turning a key to gain entry, people touch the screen, located directly above the door handle, to enter a passcode, unlocking the door.

Traffic Operation—Production of the Model 2000 automatic door operator product line is in the hands of Detex in New Braunfels, Texas. The decision follows a recent agreement with Lockman Peck to purchase the intellectual property and all exclusive rights of the Model 2000. Model 2000 doubles as an ADA compliant low energy, handicap operator and as a full energy, high traffic operator.

New LearnLok Feature—The new Learnlok feature has been added to Kaba Access Control’s E-Plex PROX based E5700 series electronic locks, E5770 series, SACs and E3700 series narrow stile electronic locks. The feature simplifies programming of up to 300 user credentials per door by “learning” them right at the lock’s reader without the use of software and related lock programming devices.
Doors.Net Access Control Software—Keri Systems’ Doors.Net new access control software program is designed to manage systems using its TCP/IP-based NXT controller hardware family with built-in Ethernet connectivity. It allows for an unlimited number of connected workstations using Thin Client architecture to push information out to the Clients.
Lever Handle Inside and Out—The 2835 Lever Handle Lock from Lockeye features a passage function, with the lever handle inside and outside and an easy code change option as often as required. It can be applied to residential entry doors, garage doors, interior doors, closets and storage rooms.
Locks in Auto Reverse—MARKS USA announced the new auto-reverse feature on their popular 5 Series Mortise Lock (patent pending). Now, the installer can reverse the handing of the lockset without removing the cover. The mortise locks are thru-bolted for proper alignment and ease of installation, have self-adjusting spindles and independent lever support springs.
Studio Line Expanded—SARGENT expanded its Studio Collection line with the introduction of seven elegant and expressive architectural levers. These new additions provide a solution for areas requiring return-to-door levers, as well as offer architects and designers more style options.
Faceplate Options—The new SDC 45 series from Security Door Controls features a choice of one faceplate or three faceplates to ensure adaptability to virtually application. Features include a field-reversible failsafe/failsecure mode; ¼-inch horizontal alignment adjustment; keeper closed and deadlocked status output; latch position status output; and 12/24V AC/DC operation.
Lockdown on Drug Cabinets—Videx offers its Cyberlock access control solution for medical drug cabinets. The system includes the CyberLock electronic cylinder that has no keyway to pick and the electronic key that cannot be duplicated. An administrator can track access to sensitive areas because both the electronic lock and key audit lock and key activity.
Strikes Retrofit Most Doors—Doorking’s Electric strikes offer an economical way to secure standard doors. Suitable for most cylindrical door locks, they easily retrofit into most door or gate frames and operate on 12-volt DC power.
3 ‘Smart’ Locks For You—Kwikset’s SmartSeries consists of three products that provide different levels of functionality, convenience and customization for your home security: Smartkey; Smartcode; and Smartscan. With SmartKey you can replace the key and not the lock without calling a locksmith. The Smartcode series enforces a controllable keyless entry deadbolt while SmartScan utilizes biometrics to scan the subdermal part of your finger to unlock the deadbolt.
Deadbolt for Narrow Spaces—The 2190 Deadbolt/Latch from Adams Rite is an interconnected deadbolt and deadlatch for narrow stile aluminum doors. The 2190 provides the functionality of a full mortise lock in a narrow stile package, while meeting the most stringent building egress requirements.
Lock Integration via Software—Now integrated into the OnGuard® security software platform from Lenel Systems, Onity’s CT30 offline locks come standard with reliable, keycard-operated magnetic stripe technology and offer a PIN-code keypad for an extra layer of security.

Entry without a Key—The CL2010 Codelock keyless electronic lock is a medium duty electronic knobset intended for light commercial and residential installation. Based on Piezo technology, it offers a battery life of 500,000 operations from the 4x1.5v AA cells@2900mAh.

Deadbolt Locksets—The J200 Series Interconnected Locksets from Dorma are built with a cylindrical chassis and tubular dead bolt for all applications where ANSI A156.12 Grade 2 products are required.

Coming in February!—Olympus Lock’s B7 Series Utility Cam Lock, coming in February, features its patented cylinder retaining clip for quick and easy rekeying and patented cam shifting mechanism for maximum flexibility. The seven-pin cylinder is available in A, E or G keyway.
Cut Less with This Strike—Axion’s 3478 is a Grade-1 heavy duty strike with a 1-inch total backset, built-in trim skirt and requires 60 percent less cutting (50 percent plus less material to remove during install). The 478 faceplate contains patented horizontal adjustments guaranteed not to move.
Mechanical Goes Digital!—The Digital Mortise Cylinder from SimonVoss allows users remove the mechanical mortise cylinder and replace it with a digital cylinder, which gives the user more control over who has access, when they have access and can track that use for later reference.
