One More for the Team

Stemming from a recent partnership with I&A System Co., Ltd., a South Korean card printer manufacturer, Identicard now offers the SMART card printer line to the U.S. market. Available in versions for single-sided or dual-sided printing, it is a compact, lightweight ID card printer equipped with user convenience features, includes customer-friendly software tools and provides the optional ability to encode magnetic stripe, or contact or contactless chip cards. Keypad Reader Meets High Security Needs

The Schlage SXF2110 mid-range keypad reader from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies is ideal for higher security applications where two factor (card and/or pin number) authentications are desirable. In addition to a keypad, the reader contains both 125 kHz proximity and 13.56 MHz contactless smart card capability in one unit. Access Control in Threes

Tyco International’s new Kantech EntraPass v4.01 access control software is available in three different versions; EntraPass Special Edition; EntraPass Corporate Edition; and EntraPass Global Edition. With a distributed architecture, the EntraPass Special Edition and EntraPass Global Edition provide connections to remote sites using direct connections, dial-up modems, and IP communication; Special Edition uses Kantech IP Link with KT-100 and KT-300 door controllers or the KT-400 Ethernet-ready four-door controller. Lenel Systems’ goEntry is a stand-alone system that requires no servers and is designed for use by those with no prior access control experience. The goEntry software is embedded in a single control unit, eliminating the need for a dedicated computer. IP Access Controller

Software House, a Tyco International Company, offers its iSTAR Edge, a full-featured two-reader IP access controller.
