Analog Expansion-American Dynamics released its Discover 200 and 600 cameras, mini-dome and bullet models ideal for any analog or hybrid system and which can be retrofitted to existing installations. The 200 Series bullet camera offers Day/Night switching with a built-in IR illuminator; the 600 Series bullet camera features 3x vari-focal IR corrected lens, IR illuminators and an IP66 rated housing.

Cut the Distortion!-Theia Technologies' SL183 1.8 to 3mm varifocal lens provides 77 to 115 degrees undistorted HFOV using patented Linear Optical Technology. The 50mm long, five megapixel, IR-corrected, CS-mount lens fits in most mini-domes and with Easy Zoom capability, once focus is set, minimal refocus is needed post zooming.

VMS Platform Updates-Updates to Verint Systems' Nextiva Video Management Software version 6.2 include a user interface optimized for video visualization and operator efficiency; an ultra-thin Web client for remote viewing; and advanced setup tools to streamline deployment and maintenance.

Alarm Management App-Future Fibre Technologies (FFT) CAMS Mobile is designed to provide instant alarm information from FFT CAMS directly to an Android phone or device. This mobile application displays the GPS location of an intrusion layered onto a satellite image of the protected site.

PoE Debut-The KBC FTLS1 10/100 Ethernet media converter is fully-compliant with the IEEE 802.3at specification and acts as a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) providing 25.5W at 48vdc. The unit supports transmission of an Ethernet channel over either one or two multimode or single mode optical fibers.

Radio Communication-Trio ER45e, an Ethernet licensed radio by Control Microsystems (a Schneider Electric company), combines Ethernet and serial ports to suit a broad range of remote devices and RTUs. The ER45e is designed to increase IP communication network reliability and coverage and features ChannelShare data compression, low latency and over-the-air firmware upgrades.

HSPD-12 Hardware/Software Solution-Quintron's AccessNsite access management software platform now supports the "Authenticard" Consortium's Codebench and Mercury Panel-based solution, operating with Farpointe's OSDP-Secure enabled smartcard reader.

Digital Signage Delivery Platform-Premier Mounts' IPM-700 secure wall mounting frame for iPads entirely covers all iPad controls but allows access to the touchscreen. It prevents any unauthorized access and does not obstruct reception to Wi-Fi networks.
