Defense Department Suppliers Begin Accepting Shipments of Catcher's New Grizzly Product

LEESBURG, Va., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Catcher Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CTHH), (http://www.catcherinc.com), a leader in ruggedized integrated mobile computing and Wi-Fi communication platforms today announced several organizations that supply products and integration services to the US Department of Defense and to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security have begun accepting shipments of Catcher's recently introduced CATCHER(R) Grizzly ("Grizzly") product line. The Grizzly, which was previously called by its internal product name of version 2.0, joins the CATCHER(R) Rhino platform extending the family of products available from Catcher. Grizzly is a rugged, advanced convergent platform which combines state-of-the-art computing power with communications and audio/video technologies as well as biometric sensors and GPS capabilities. Shipments to these customers began late in the fourth quarter of 2007.

The Grizzly is an advanced convergent device, produced by Catcher Holdings, Inc. The product is in ruggedized mobile computer with integrated GPS, voice, data, biometric and a suite of communications technologies. The computing platform, which is built to be MIL-STD 810F compliant, is based on embedded Intel chipsets, comes with an 80 or 120 Gigabytes hard drive and up to 4 Gigabytes of random access memory, dual batteries and an advanced SVG or XGA 8.4" sunlight readable touch screen display, with a small QWERTY keyboard. Additional features include two video cameras with digital watermarking capabilities, biometric sensors including a fingerprint scanner (>500 dpi) and iris scanning capabilities (optional), and digital voice recorder. A unique emergency alert feature featuring a "Panic Button" that when depressed automatically begins recording the audio and video events that occur. A wired and wireless communications suite which includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi-802.11 b/g and Gigabit Ethernet is standard.
