World Airways Selects Goodrich to Service Its MD-11 Fleet

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- World Airways, a global provider of long-range passenger and cargo air transportation services, has selected Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services and rotable support for its fleet of MD-11 aircraft.

Under the terms of a three-year agreement, Goodrich's Alabama Service Center in Foley, Ala. will refurbish thrust reversers and inlets on World Airways' fleet of MD-11 jetliners, as well as offer rotable support.
